SPECIAL EXHIBIT ENTRY INFORMATION
for MQX West 2011

MQX is pleased to present several Special Exhibits at this year's show. The following Exhibits will require the entrant to fill out the form below. Please select the Special Exhibit in the drop down menu and fill out the form. There are NO entry fees for any of these exhibits. Be aware of the deadlines listed within each exhibit.

Quilting in the Family ..... a juried Special Exhibit
 
This display of quilt honors the many women who have passed on their love of fabric and quilting to the next generation.  This exhibit is open to mothers/daughters, grandmothers/sons or a dear friend that took you under her wing. Who inspired you?  Submit your quilt, your mentor's quilt and the story of how you were inspired.  Please submit one photo of each quilt using the online submission form below.  While it is prefered that quilts are machine quilted, it is understood that older quilts may be hand-quilted.  
The deadline is September 15, 2011.   
 

The Magic of IQ Challenge
Sponsored by Machine Quilters Exposition

There were 10 Challenge Quilts at MQX East and we would like to see a few more. Detailed information and challenge rules for the IQ Challenge may be found on the IntelliQuilter Yahoo Group. The deadline for entry is September 15, 2011. This exhibit is to showcase the versatility and design capabilities of the IntelliQuilter Computerized Quilting System. Questions about the Challenge may be directed to Anne L. Smith by e-mail.

When submitting your entry, one full view photograph is required.

 Exhibit Requirements:  

• Be sure to select the correct exhibit you are entering by using the drop down menu.
• Fill a separate form for each exhibit.
• Each exhibit has specific photographic requirements
• All quilts must arrive clean and free of odors.
• Quilts must be labeled with the owner’s name, address and phone number.
• Each quilt must have a 4-5 inch sleeve for hanging no further than 90-92 inches from the floor
• Quilts must be available for display from October 4th through October 22nd

Notifications of acceptance into the exhibits will be emailed. Shipping details along with return shipping information will be included in the e-notifications.
