Humor is the Best Medicine
A Call for Entries
Since humor really is the best medicine, why not celebrate that medicine in quilt form. For the first time in 2010, MQX will be hosting a special exhibit entitled, “Humor is the Best Medicine”. Cathy Wiggins, known for her humorous quilts in her “Just for Fun” series will curate this one-of-a-kind exhibit. Any quilt that is machine quilted and is of a humorous theme will be considered for the exhibit. This is a juried but not a judged exhibit.
Cathy’s goal is to have a wonderful display of quilts that will bring smiles to everyone viewing the show. Entrants may submit up to three humorous quilts for consideration. There is no entry fee.

Exhibit requirements:
- Fill out the form below
- Attach two digital photographs (one full view and one of quilting detail)
- All quilts must arrive clean and free of odors.
- Quilts must be labeled with the owner’s name, address and phone number.
- Each quilt must have a 5 inch sleeve for hanging no further than 92 inches from the floor
- Quilts must be available for display from April 5th through April 22nd
- Deadline for submission: February 15, 2010.
Notifications of acceptance into the exhibit will be emailed by March 15, 2010. Shipping details along with return shipping information will be included in these notifications. There is a $15.00 per quilt charge for return shipping (which must accompany the quilt(s) when shipped to MQX).
