Machine Quilters Exposition, LLC (MQX) is an annual machine quilting show and conference founded by machine quilters, Janet-Lee Santeusanio and Mary Schilke. MQX embraces all machine quilters, regardless of the size or model of machine used to complete the quilting process.
MQX provides a venue where quilters feel supported in their quest to learn new techniques, are acknowledged for their accomplishments, display their work, and interact socially with their peers. Moreover, MQX provides teachers with the freedom to attempt new and exciting techniques in a comfortable, flexible setting. This quilting conference has fostered an environment of education, enjoyment, and relaxation by incorporating many of the suggestions of participants and patrons.
The education process, initiated by MQX's motivation to hone the skills of machine quilters, culminates in the sharing of original and beautiful work with the quilting public. The MQX Quilt Show attracts quilts from all over the US, Canada, Europe and Australia and highlights the enormous strides that machine quilting has made over the last 10 years. MQX is a not-to-be missed event on the spring quilt show calendar!
