Ground hog day

Do you recall Bill Murray in the movie, Groundhog Day? MQX can be your version of staying in one place and learning to get things done right. Be it piecing, designing, machine quilting, hand quilting, or finishing your quilt; let MQX be your quilt/quilting indulgence.

Machine Quilting Teacher of the Year - We would like to remind you to take this opportunity to get your nomination in for Machine Quilting Teacher of the Year for 2016. Let us know who inspired you the most and why. The "why" is a necessary and integral part of the selection process, just as important as the nomination. Let us know who inspired you the most. Click here for the Nomination Form.

New Traditions in Textiles is our newest competition category for those quilted items (even just a little quilting) that do not fit the traditional "quilt show" mold. Vintage textiles, accessories, clothing, furniture.

What's in a Number? A show, or any business for that matter, measures it's success by examining the numbers, right? For us, what goes beyond the numbers is the degree of chatter and hum on the show floor, meeting up with old friends and making new ones, or hearing students say, "oh my goodness, that class was fabulous!" It takes passion and drive to make our show a place where everyone wants to be. All of us at MQX know that there are many show choices available and we are most appreciative that you've chosen MQX.

See you in April!
