Quilting and Back to School Time has Arrived

  August 26, 2019

Hello Quilters !

Summer has flown by, kids are headed back to school, and we thought we'd give you some tidbits about what's coming up at MQX New England next April.

We're working on the class schedules and sending faculty contracts out far and wide.....   How far you ask?  Well how about down under!

We are thrilled to  announce that Art and Stitch users will have the opportunity to learn from one of the top teachers of the software.... Karen Hogan of Australia!

Karen is awesome..... check out these samples. Learn how to design quilting patterns for yourself.

As the days become shorter, here's a few things to brighten your days. Let's talk about Mandalas, Mosaics, and Mr. Domestic!

Kyra Reps
who will be doing several mandala applique (Appliquick method) and dot related classes. Have you seen her dotted mugs? Well, she is leading our dotting efforts at Thursday night's Quilter's Fun Night.

Heidi Proffetty
will be teaching her incredible mosaic quilts using a digital cutter.

... and just when we think we've figured out all or most of the types of quilts.....  how about a woven quilt? Mr. Domestic (Mathew Boudreaux) is teaching some very cool, innovative classes.

Stay tuned for the release of the class schedule in mid-late September.
